- Start seated in a rowing machine with feet planted in front of you or on the platform.
- Grasp the handles with a neutral grip (palms facing each other).
- Pull the handles back, keeping your shoulders down and moving your elbows back, shoulder blades squeezed.
- When the handles reach your sides, pause and return to starting position.
You should feel this exercise in your upper back and shoulders.
