S&C with CSIO: Banded Upright Row

Learn simple strength and conditioning exercises with CSIO’s experts in S&C with CSIO!
  1. Start by holding an end of a band in each hand, standing in the middle of the band with feet shoulder width apart.
  2. Bring your hands in front of you with your palms facing you.
  3. Pull the bands upwards close to your body, until they are at your chest level.
  4. Your elbows will be above your hands and moving upwards.
  5. Pause and lower hands back to starting position.

You should feel this exercise in your shoulders and upper back.
