Canadian Sport Institute Ontario (CSIO) is proud to recognize Elaena Dick as the OHPSI Athlete of the Month. Elaena recently had an outstanding performance at the Winter Senior National Championships in Saskatoon on December 15, 2019. She finished 2nd in the Women’s 10m Platform event, reaching 360 points. Her score was the equivalent of a Top 5 ranking at a Worlds or Olympics.
Elaena trains out of the Toronto Diving Academy at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre with National Head Coach Gilles Emptoz-Lacote.
Since 2017, Elaena has been an identified athlete through CSIO’s Ontario High Performance Sport Initiative (OHPSI), with access to sport science and sport medicine support. This includes working with expert practitioners in the areas of Biomechanics, Strength & Conditioning, Nutrition, Physiotherapy and Mental Performance. Elaena also receives regular monitoring and access to CSIO medical services throughout her training and competition schedule.
Elaena is currently studying Kinesiology at the University of Toronto.
