Safe Sport

Safe Sport

Through collaboration and harmonization across the sport sector, a universal code of conduct and sanctions will make sport safe for all athletes, coaches, officials, administrators and support staff, at all levels of sport in Canada.

Canadian Sport Institute Ontario

To support a safe sport environment within CSIO, all staff working in any role at CSIO are screened and required to complete training. CSIO is in the process of implementing additional policies and processes to create open, observable and safe interactions within and around the CSIO environment.

As CSIO moves through 2019, a registered coach program will be implemented for all coaches working with our partnered sports or using CSIO facilities.  More information to follow on this initiative.

CSIO is committed to working with our partners to educate and support Safe Sport across Ontario and Canada.
